Sponsorship Opportunities for SLEDcc 2008

The Second Life Education Community Conference could not take place without the support of our sponsors. Various sponsorship packages are available to provide value to sponsors at nearly any level of support. To inquire about becoming a sponsor, please contact sledcc08@googlegroups.com.

In appreciation for your support, sponsors will be showcased and thanked in several ways:

Display Tables
Display tables will be located both in the foyer of the mail ball room and outside the Workshop room for the SLEDcc conference. The tables will be available for display from 6AM Saturday, September 6th through the end of the convention.

Complimentary and Discounted Passes
We hope sponsors will join us at SLEDcc and offer different packages of complimentary and discounted passes that cover both the SLEDcc and overall Second Life Community Convention.

Sponsor's Brand on T-Shirts and Bags
Your logo can be included on the official SLCC convention t-shirt and complimentary tote bag to be given to all convention attendees. A special SLEDcc t-shirt may be printed as well.

Inclusion in the Printed Program
Sponsors can include advertisements in the Second Life Community Convention main program as well as the SLEDcc insert program that will be distributed to all convention attendees. Different size ad spaces are available depending upon the level of support provided. Ads can also be purchased separately from the sponsorship packages.

Web Site
All sponsors will be thanked publicly by including their logo/mark on the SLEDcc website. The highest level sponsors will also be included in the overall Second Life Community Convention website at http://slconvention.org.

In-World Kiosk
To advertise SLEDcc and the Second Life Community Convention, kiosks will be distributed throughout the virtual world of Second Life. Sponsor logos and/or names (depending upon the kiosk design) will be incorporated into the "in-world" kiosks.

Additional Details for Sponsors

Program Ad Specifications:
Size of ad in the conference program is dependent upon level of sponsorship and some sponsors will receive banners that will be hung at various places around the convention. We want your ads to look good in the program, so please follow the following guidelines in submitting your logo for inclusion:
  • All art work and ad art work should be directly emailed to SLCCprogram@gmail.com no later than July 1, 2008. Please be sure to state what you are submitting (banner or ad art) and for whom it is for.

  • ALL art work must be a minimum of 300 dpi and converted to cmyk before you submit it

  • Banner art work size minimum of 2048 x 2048

  • Full page ad size: 8.5” x 11”, 1650 x 2550 (with bleed* 1800 x 2700)

  • Half page ad size: 8.5” x 5.5”, 1650 x 1275 (with bleed* 1800 x 1350)

  • Quarter page ad size: 5.5” x 4.25”, 825 x 1275 (no bleed offered on quarter size ads)

  • Eighth Page booster is text only and limited to 140 characters email the text to the above address you wish to appear in the ad. We will use largest font that will fit the ad space unless other wise noted by you that a smaller font is preferred.

*For ads designed to be printed to page edges, please add an extra 0.25” on each side for bleed. To prevent any text accidentally being trimmed, all text should be at least 0.25” from edge of ad (0.5” if your ad has a bleed.)

If you do not have a formal ad to submit, please send along a high-resolution version of your logo and the accompanying text you would like us to place. Logos should be submitted as an .eps or a high-resolution .tif or .jpg file no smaller than 1024 x 1024 pixels in size and can be submitted in color.

Payment must be received prior to any art work being included in the pamphlet.
